Rhodes Avenue Primary is a very special school where our children are at the heart of all we do. We are a centre of high aspirations that promotes excellence, supports ambition and generates optimism for the future.
Our school aims are to promote a love of knowledge and understanding in all our children and the confidence to take risks with their learning. We celebrate individuality and diversity through a broad and rich curriculum, in conjunction with teaching social and moral values concerned with the good of society, the environment and the global community. Developing empathy, mutual respect, tolerance, social justice and the importance of loving relationships and family diversity.

The curtains for the Rhodes Avenue Musical have now closed but the 'incredi-mazing' show will never be forgotten. Congratulations Year 6 on a superb show.
4Thank you @October_Gallery for hosting our Year 2 children this week. They enjoyed exploring the artworks of Ablade Glover and took part in their own art making session. We recommend everyone visit the 'Ablade Glover at 90' exhibition which coincides with his 90th birthday.
4Our talented writer Ione Knight was presented with her prizes from @RoyalMintUK for winning their national writing competition for her story 'The Girl with Hair like Fire'. Her winning story has also earned our school £5000 for our library.
